New Executive of Nepal-Korea Friendship Association

Kathmandu:

A special meeting of Nepal-Korea Friendship Association (NKFA) was held in Kathmandu under the Chairmanship of Prof. Manik Lal Shrestha,  who is the former Chairman of this Association. At the meeting, new executive committee of NKFA is formed unanimously. Accordingly Prof. Manik is Lal Shrestha  is promoted as a advisor of the Association.

At the meeting, Former Deputy Prime Minister and General Secretary of CPN (ML)  Mr. C. P. Mainali is elected in the post of  Chairman of the Association. 

Likewise, Dr. Manju Ratna Sakya has been elected as a Joint-Chairman & Mr. Manik Lama, Mr. Hiranya Lal Shrestha and Mr. Dambar Shrestha are also unanimously elected as a Vice-Chairman of the Association. The General Secretary of Association will run by Mr. Phanindra Raj Pant. 

The meeting also elected  Ms. Sashi Shrestha, Mr. Dharmendra Bastola,  Mr. Sunil Manandhar, Mr. Ram Krishna Karmacharya, Mr. Subash Kaji Shrestha, Mr. Binod Adhikari, Mr. Rajan Karki and Ms. Rashmi Shrestha as a members of the Association.

At the meeting  senior political leaders of different Political parties of Nepal, Representatives of friendship organization, media personnel and peoples' Association dedicated to promote Nepal-Korea Friendship Relations were present. The meeting also decided to strengthen the mutual friendly relations between Nepal and DPRK. 

The meeting has expressed its full support and solidarity for the dignity, sovereignty and self reliance of the Korean people. The meeting also sent a letter of appreciation to Marshal KIM JONG UN, Supreme Leader of the Korean People  through the Ambassador  of DPR of Korea H.E. Mr. KimYong Hak to Nepal, who kindly accepted the invitation and graced the occasion.
